Judith’s Insight on Self Awareness Rough Draft Written in 2014 - Edited and printed in 2023
We, the entire human race, are all part of making history ... though, in this World of ours most are barely noticed for their great triumphs ... or even their insignificant successes among the masses. Fact is, most people don't have their historical mark preserved somewhere for others to discover sometime in someplace around the World. This reality has been skillfully reserved for the few, although many of them fade with time – very, very few are not forgotten. Yet, by the mere existence of our being, we - each and every soul - adds to the book of life, the Masterpiece of All Time. This book is not visible, yet can be seen, and whatever has been preserved by man, may not be what is truly recorded in time.
We know there is a record of history that is coded into our DNA, inherited through generations. It's one of the basic facts of nature. Of course, this record of life is not clearly, completely understood, but understanding comes clearer each day. It's one of those mysteries still deeply contemplated, although religion seems to have it all summed up in a perfectly wrapped box - with a bow of faith and a cross of hope. I have not been a religious person, but faith and hope are two most powerful perceptions … the belief of a peaceful eternity. Yet, and even though we do not know if eternity awaits, nor if it is peaceful, faith and hope can give us something to believe in that at least gives us peace of mind while here in this World. It certainly continues to give me peace to hope for such a place, and the faith to endure life’s challenges.
I think most of us are aware that only a few great ones make history, and there is a reason for that - as all has purpose. Then, there are those that reenact history, helping to weave the stories deeper into our consciousness the way they perceive. This method has shown to hold a great purpose shaping and molding the world view. Certainly, it has so, and in the process has given the multitudes a feeling that their life is mediocre, perhaps meaningless because their life isn't shown through the Eye of the World. On the other hand, it has sadly numbed the masses to their own existence, and they seem perfectly content to live in the fantasy the world projects.
The Eye of World is like the magnifying glass that reflects through time, an illusion that is constantly being blanketed by layers of dust. A dust that in time is buried deep and long forgotten. Only a handful of historical records are ever guarded for all time. If we look to the farthest future we can behold, we are told the world will no longer exist as we know it, and sadly that time is nearer than one thinks. That should awaken us all the more to this thing called, ‘The Book of Life,’ which, who absolutely knows is keeping every account, yet, all the same, if we are to understand our life's purpose, surely it ought to be somewhere other than through the Eye of the World.
To know exactly what the Eye of the World is, helps bring clarity to one’s own eyes. Historical moments have always moved the masses. We look to the past as stepping stones, yet fail to see how these very stones were laid by the hands of those who didn't possess them. That is why they are called historic records.
What remains preserved for another time is eventually unveiled, and though what is revealed as history’s truth, comes forth a great manuscript … based on a true story. A story mingled perhaps in historical facts, but swayed by the motion of the fine-tip diamond pen etching a tale of its own that is engraved into the minds of the masses. Through generation after generation the memory absorbs all as absolute truth repeated over and over. Such a powerful means of mass manipulation, indeed, yet, time tells all ... and how many times have they had to rewrite history as untold truth are made aware?
The world’s historic story tellers are those who hold the power to educate, the way they want others to know. What we do know, that’s generations past didn’t, is there are many untold truth written in our history books - however, as new facts become new truths, the picture get bigger. That brings a deeper knowledge that brings a clearer knowing, and it is this knowing that we find our own place in history. Only we know our truth, our facts, our life history.
It's very difficult to comprehend that all we know, all that has been told to us, taught to us, shown to us, is nurtured by stories. Life is one big story with zillions of branches of stories.
I have my own stories, and yet, as I remember them are not always as others remember them. Memories are strange that way. We know this because it has been proven. Take a crime scene with eye witnesses, for example. What each saw and heard are often very different from each viewer. It’s a fact, we all see things a little different. And that in itself is hard to comprehend. We have come to believe that we all see the same things, the sky is blue, the grass is green. It just might not be the same shade through another’s eyes. Then there are those who think we should all believed the same things, a one-world mind, and if it were so, they say life would not be so terribly messed up. The dreamers and schemers.
I believe if we could grasp the vastness of how different we are that we can begin to understand ourselves better, and how we fit into this World as a Whole. But that’s not the way the framework has been designed. It’s the confusion that is the driving force to either get in the game or step aside, and getting in game often means creating a self indulged world, or becoming part of other proclaimed worlds within the creative World. That’s the strange and odd truth about the World we dwell in.
I suppose I know as well as most we are able to create our own little world, a game I had learned at a very young age. As I grew older, I saw how those little worlds captured others into their game plan and placed them in a bubble. Well, I've never been much into games … and bubbles always burst. I learned through time, through observation how to look at the bigger picture, the one most rarely consider and some are totally dumbfounded.
I have observed most of my life from the inside, not embracing the outward connection that seemed to always be pulling me to surrender to its ways, always trying to lure me in, always trying to tear me down and weaken my strength – many times to near spiritual death. Well God knows how many times I have cried, desperately pouring out every drop of water my eyes could gush, asking why are the outer forces wanting to destroy me - to rob me of my innocence? I wonder how many souls have and are experiencing the same thing.
Get in the game or step aside is what I have experienced in all my travels, and this decision is truly a reality we must behold because if we step aside – it’s not a pleasant path – but if you can survive you shall be a soul of real substance. We can live life without becoming a part of the worlds of the World, for when the bubbles burst and all those little worlds crumble, it’s not the strong who survive, it’s the real. I have seen such bubbles burst. I have seen such worlds crumble. I’ve seen my own and I know the devastation.
History is written in the book of life, the Masterpiece of All Time, preserved and waiting somewhere - and at sometime it will surface - and each and every soul will face themselves, and many will not know who they truly are for they are too fragmented. The future knows the truth, and the future is always reflecting truths past … shining a light.
Once we realize self awareness is priceless, so many things make better sense to why we are here, here in this timeframe. A time, perhaps, the greatest time of all time. And that is why I’ll never be in the game. Life, to me, is far from a game ... although I learned to maneuver through many challenging opponents. Self awareness is survival not some level of acceptance, not some realization of your existence. Spiritually, it is everlasting life.
